I was more optimistic before. You could say that I passed the stage of denial coming into acceptance. I used to believe that arguing could change some of it, but I don't think that is true. You can change it, but I can't change you.

What it means is that fossils must be gone in nine years. The reservations existing. You exchanging distrust to trust getting your democracies to work. Building nuclear, preferably molten salt, readying for a later transition.

How likely do you find those to be?

It's a pity, it means that we lose all possibilities of getting to know our universe. We need more time for it than what we will get. It also means that my kids kids, kids will find it constantly worse, until there is no light left in the tunnel. And it will give me no satisfaction at all, to become right here.

Sure, the world eats the world. But it is about sustainability. You exchanged that for a farming game of inequality. And even now you're unable to get out of your preconceptions. You're locked in.
