You have to stop voting up leaders and extremes. You have to become a individual, and put some trust in that and a democracy. You have to stop trusting your real politik to take you out of this. Hierarchies and 'visions' won't lead you out. Your 'role models' becomes the very definition of this game you play and the best you can hope to get from it is what we call 'enlightened leaders'.

But even then they become extremes, formed and molded into a game of inequality.
Try some trust.

The head of the Security Service (SS) at the time, Klaes Bergenstrand (who was involved in the Leander case, where he together with Hans Corell produced statements that later forced the Government to give a public apology and Leander appr 45.000 € in tax free damages) died a couple of years ago. Trust is a anathema to real politk and geopolitics, as well as to 'game theory'. All builds on what you can gain from it. And depending on your position, greed, ideals and beliefs, etc it will lead to solutions bringing with them human misery, even if not by you. And distrust is very similar to wars, easy to gain but hard to stop.

It's also a question of your values, what importance you put on 'rights, only yours?

In those sf:s and fantasy's your game always exist. I haven't really found a book stepping out of it, with possibly 'last and first men' as a sort of exception built on observation of our behavior. That book is timeless in that manner. As long as you won't change your game, it always will be correct. But it still fails, in imagining a sentient species not steered by those instincts, values,, ideals and beliefs.

That is what intelligence is about, emerging, making you see.
I have two choices here, either you will take that step or you won't.
