Now, why would they do that? We already have two, or let's say three payment systems, one old using precious metals and barters, then agreeing on using 'paper money' to make it more flexible and lastly our current digital transactions.

Another problem with it is that it's based on societies being stable with unchanging infrastructures as f.ex a 'global Internet'. Look no further than to a war to see what happens with that.

I'm not happy with the way our current 'representative' democracies works, but that doesn't mean that I'm unhappy with a government, as being the focus for what we want done. Without it you will meet chaos a lot faster than you ever thought possible.
