They consider themselves chosen to protect what we have, our current status quo, and so do a lot of other people, climate scientists as Mr Mann included. Human behaviors, and education does not change it.

Migrations of animals versus us homo sapiens are two different things. You f.ex. run to New Zealand thinking yourself ahead of the times, smart, wealthy and 'adaptive'.

So the migration's of animals are more or less inside Earth's time scales. fitted to it through histories of natural change. Can you see a difference? And they don't 'plan' for it, like we do, migrating. Where this, global warming, is something new pushed on them by us and our time scales.
