Chris Lovelidge.  asked the Naked Scientists:

Hello from Canada,

I hope you can help me. About two years ago I read an article of a food experiment somewhere in UK. The object was to determine if blessed food tasted better. several scientist were involved and their conclusion was blessed food tasted better, the result was unequivocal.

I would love to find this article but it does not appear to be on the internet, can you help.

Thanks,  Chris

What do you think?

Smells fishy to me Chris (rather like the unblessed food!)

    Did they try different blessings?

Since there are a number of religions, I would hope they tried Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist and pagan blessings, oh and a nature blessing too.

Since we can't all be right, only one of them would have produced a favourable result.

If the Jews are right, then surely the Christian blessing would have the opposite effect, or vice versa.

What a load of old cobblers, or should I say 'Rocky Mountain Oysters'?
