Stinging Nettles and Arthritis

Does anyone remember a study a few years ago that claimed that stinging nettles (and maybe bee stings) could help ease the pain of arthritis ? How is that supposed to work ?

Go to the homepage (http://www.thenakedscientists.com) and click on search - then type "stem cells" into the search box. Having just done that I have produced many results from all over the site about a range of stem-cell related topics.
