About to leave Monday and began throwing up. Same scenario - tube in nose, large morphine for pain, pancreas bleeding internally. Most likely from all of blood thinners given when atrial fibrillation required them.

I shall be so glad when you are back home, well, and I can insult you at my leisure!!

Daily  update

Now, No hydration by mouth and never food any since the enzymes came up again. Some surgeon came in while I was asleep and wrote the order. Didn't explain why, no reason, and NO INTRODUCTION! 

Are they gonna cut me up? I hate this lack of communication.

Will  need to wait and see.

Let you know what transpires this afternoon.

Again tomorrow I am to start on a liquid diet. Once more up the line I go, hopefully this time to some length of health that is much greater than this last one.

UPDATE:

Finally may have enough pain medications after 3 weeks of bitching. ALSO - major change from "no food" to "accelerate as tolerated." Could be on real food by tomorrow noon.

Internal bleeding Monday thought to have been from blood thinners given for atrial fibs that then cause the raw pancreas to bleed - thus the setback. (Did that make sense?)

I'm sick - leave me alone

Actually, I am not as perky today as yesterday. Yesterday was a a LONG day and I was forced y the addition of food to my diet to ove from the bedd to the commode many more times than I had energy to do so. (I can see the TV better from the commode  [?])

Very tired without a stable stomach. - Not a good combo. But I was told to expect 3-4 weeks when I came in so I guess I am on schedule. 

I shall engage in repartee if conditions improve during the day.

( Watch the guy in the skirt who posted just before I do now. A Scotsman, ya ken.

FWIW, after my open heart surgery, they couldn't figure out what was causing my atrial fibrillation. Finally, they reasoned that one of the IV medications was partially to blame, and switching to pill form helped immensely. (They learned somehow that pills did not have the side effects that IV-dosing did for this particular medication). That plus plate shocks to the heart (just like in the movies) got me back to "normal" (which I'll never be).  And all of the above is stated with a caveat, "if my memory is right"!

This post is probably as useful as our vestigial organs.

Bad day in Black Rock. Had a horrible night and have had no energy today. Don't even remember the name of person I need to insult most.
