Is ME linked to XMRV?
« on: 05/11/2010 13:30:03 »
@Goralot asked the Naked Scientists:

What is the link between XMRV (Xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus) and ME?  Can it be treated by antivirals.  Why has the government stopped sufferers giving blood?

What do you think?

    I think that this research has been questioned and maybe even disregarded altogether recently...

    Science has now taken the unusual step of withdrawing the original report without the consent of all the authors
