It is heard that osteoporosis can be prevented by taking some suppliments of nutrients like vitamins and minerals.Is that true?

Yes, the 'sunshine' vitamin (vitamin D) and calcium are both recommended to prevent osteoporosis

A bone density test may be used to diagnose osteoporosis, and fortunately, it is very preventable by exercising and Vitamin D in a diet is mandatory for the patient.
