I'm not sure hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?? how many ashes did we not take home?

Can't be too sure as I am not as old as the game itself!!

See you all at the winning end this year, OOPS I didn't realise I'll be the only one so far from this page to be there!

Don't forget to wave UP TO ME!

[:D]

GO A U S S I E S

And at at this present moment I think the same for our SOCCEROOS!! in the soccer world cup!  I think we're a side to be recond with!

And as for the Ashes... just you wait... our side responds well to a good butt-whipping every now and then... it gives them the inspiration for a better performance next time!

It will be interesting to see what kind of bowling attack you'll have. No Warne, no McGrath, Lee getting on a bit and bowling 10mph slower, Gillespie mutated into a yeti, and as for that Kasparov thing... he should go back to playing chess! [:D]

Most of the team we have now will still be playing, still be in their prime, and have a hell of a lot of experience by then.

I think you'd better stand by for another butt-whooping!

It helps that I only managed to watch the last 15 minutes of the match... (ie the good Aussie bit [;)]) I'm sure if I had watched the whole match I would have been less enthused by our game [8)]

And as for the cricket... I shall hold my tongue 'til the games begin. I have confidence in our team. [8D] As you do in yours I imangine... One thing is for sure - it certainly re-vamped the enthusiasm of Aussie spectators - after so many victories, enthusiasm was waning a little, but I hear that ticket sales for cricket have had a major increase since the Ashes test, so it can only be good for the sport.

The surge in enthusiasm here has been phenomenal. And, as you rightly said, that has to be good for the game.
