What I don't get is, wouldn't orgasm in general desensitize you? (probably discussed it before, sorry for my laziness)
Daveman, I can’t imagine what doctor would want to consult with a patient about POIS on a forum, even if it is private. Personally, I think any categories should be very basic. I would suggest this structure:POIS Forum (title)Information Area: read only area with sub categories : POIS info (basic descripton) , Things-that-might-help (info from compendium and BJIm’s list), Information from the welcome message (this will make Demo’s job easier). Also, it would be good to have a Member Description area: an area where each member can compose and edit their history of symptoms, things that have worked, etc.Forum: No categorization to keep it simple and easy to view, users supply thread topic hot topics rise to the top as at NSF. So in summary:POIS Forum-----------------------------------------------------------------Information AreaWhat is POIS? (read only)What has helped? (read only)POIS Research (read only)Member Description (read/write)-------------------------------------------------------------------Main(user generated topics) -------------------------------------------------------------------- My 2 cents

The new forum is open! The link below gets you there.Click here!http://72.52.181.21/POIS/index.phpYou can go over, sign up, use it if you wish. I hope to have a one stop fits all WEB page ready in about 2 wks. to unite everything in one place. As it is there's a link on the other forum directly to this one so it could just seem like another thread of the same forum. There's no need to use the same username although it would help the rest to know who you are. For now, Demo and I are moderators, we may need others to manage individual boards.Of course NSF is always here!

Why not have a forum titled: "Treatments attempted", and then within that forum, have threads titled things like 'testosterone', 'progesterone', 'hyposensitization', 'alpha blockers', 'beta blockers', 'benzodiazepines', 'antidepressants'. Within these threads (not whole forums), people can post about their positive, neutral, and negative experiences.
Daveman, thanks. Ok so threading is possible, I just have to learn how to post yet. Concerning the general categories I think it would be nice if we all provide our opinions on what they ought to be, I would like to hear others thoughts on this such as CP, BJim, and Martin88 ( need I mention Demo? : )
Against brain fog, I don't know if we talked about it but daily Vitamine B12 injections seemed to work for many allergies []chess players use it to think better out of the box !
Seminal plasma to be the most concentrated site of transcobalamin II in man. The next richest normal fluid, blood, has approximately one-tenth its concentrationTranscobalamin II levels were markedly diminished in subjects lacking seminal vesicles (1520-1660 pg/ml), but not after vasectomy. This suggests that seminal vesicles are the chief source of this protein in semen.
Also, I tend to agree with Counterpoints. Topics such as these:'theories' - discuss possible causes'treatments' - discuss possible cures/treatments'symptoms' - talk about your POIS symptoms here'rants' - had a bad day/POIS episode? share it with us'off-topic' - here you can discuss whatever is on your mind - hows the weather today, what did you have for breakfast, etc

EDIT - I didn't read Martin's post. Sorry Martin - I more/less copied your ideas I like the new POIS forum, and have a suggestion. We should have a topic dedicated to new forum members so they can introduce themselves like 'Hi, my name is...', or 'New to the forum? Introduce yourself!'.
Thanks all, I'm taking all the comments into account. I'll try to collect and compile and then implement as a group change.
