Maybe they dont teleport, but have invented a cloaking machine so that they are invisible to us, then they move position and turn the cloak off again?

As a firm believer in empirical study I  got a snail and played to it a loop of the sound of Star Treks Teleportation Beam thingy ...after three hours of this it disappeared !!....

Actually....I think it just got bored and left....cripes who knows where it might...*CRUNCH !!*...ahhh !!..I think I just found it !!

When I turned on my PC this morning, on the screen were lots of snails congregating around a tin of luncheon meat - they were Spam e-snails.

But, seriously folks, a lot of the snails round where I live drive customised cars - the Renault Clio being amongst their favourite models. These Gary Snails meet in the carpark of our local Tesco in the early hours with a cacophany of BOOM tsssshh BOOM tsssshh music blaring from speakers the size of Tahiti. The speakers are so big they can't actually fit them in their cars so they leave them in the carpark and just plug in when they get there.
