Harmless garbage. I have sensible professional friends who regard the teachings of Krishna as sound moral precepts and interesting philosophy, but I think they would be culturally adrift without garlic, and nobody in his right mind considers death to be a bad thing.

However "follow authority" is the antithesis of science, so this thread is skating close to being deleted.

Well I don't know about you Alan , but I want to live forever.   My reason for this , imagine how smart a person could become if they lived forever.   We would be ''God'' like with our knowledge.  We would have all the time in the universe to sit and think with no rush to ''make it''  in science, we could spend 100's of years looking at one subject to gain an absolute answer.   As it is now, we pass the information on from one generation to another.  I think  we need to scribe things in stone just in case of an apocalyptic event like the dinosaurs extinctions happens.
Imagine evolution  happening all  over again,   ''Cavemen'' would have guidance in drawings on the wall, it would teach them to evolve.

Religions are the ultimate expression of our inherent hypocrisy. While pretending to be altruist, they go on being selfish like every one of us. Let's admit our selfishness instead, and use it to get a better world. If it has succeeded to get us here, it can certainly get us farther.

Ironically ,  religion could be expressed as the route to most evil.  I agree religion has a fake concern for the welfare of others, you know like, build  a religious building or house the homeless ?  Relatively it should be a no ''brainer'' and the homeless person should take premise over prayer needs.

You are saying death is a good thing?   

Without it, the world would be packed full of animals fighting for food, air and pensions. You would have been born into a world dominated by dinosaurs or possibly their predecessors who lived in an atmosphere that could not support humans. No cell in your body could die, so you would actually be a malignant tumor, not a human being, as would every other living thing. There being no effective means of killing anything, whatever minor infection you might have would develop into an infinite torture. Or you might live forever whilst being digested by a carnivore. Death is what makes life tolerable, and the finite nature of life is what makes every day exciting.

very well said. so now next thing is we have to see who is that person ? who is without any assets ? it is that child ( like you ) who is saying that there is no papa, there is no papa before my birth. cuz i did not seen him before my birth.

and no intelligent person will listen to this type of ( rascal and spoiled ) child instead of hearing from real mum ( aka recognized authority or agent of Lord Krishna and mine is Srila Prabhupada ) who has seen our papa before our birth and knows it that who has tilled her.

so if you want to know Krishna as he is than you must prove yourself `1st of all.

so you must prove it that you are really fertile`1 by recalling everything which you have thought or done on each second within 1 minute.

and prove it that you are more than real mum ( although it is not possible ) but let us give you `1 chance to prove yourself. that you are really fertile`1.

so that we can make progress in the arguement.

and if earth is mother than there must be papa also. cuz as we knows it that alone women can do nothing. someone else must till it than crops will come out.
