Do you have "anger issues"?

I must admit, I do.
I could recite the occasions that have accumulated over my life time; and resulted in the feelings of anger that arise in me, going back to my childhood.
I choose to not allow myself the indulgence to blame others, but rather to accept my feelings as being those of my own difficulty in self-control.
when I feel the sense of anger rising, I find my best response is to either walk away from the person or situation bringing on my anger response; or reply to the occasion with humor.
fortunately, my self-defense has avoided me getting into any serious problems with the law etc.; and I continue to practice working on my issues.
my purpose of this topic, is to ask how any others deal with their personal angers.

I can be a bit short-tempered myself, most often at work. It seems to be dependent on whether I'm expecting to have a hard day or not. If I'm expecting it, I fare much better. How you deal with your anger would depend on what's making you angry. In my case, I try to remind myself that work will eventually be over and then I can go home. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm never violent with my anger, though.

Yes, I've noticed explosive anger in my personality. After a bit of reading, I am suspicious I may suffer from Bipolar -- explosive anger is a common element.
I find that getting adequate sleep, good nutrition and a little bit of exercise (in that order) are the most important factors in controlling my erratic mood. If I do have an angry outburst, it's very important that I get space to calm down and rationalize. If I am pressed while in that 'rage' state of mind, I tend to say things I really don't mean or shouldn't say. Everyone is probably like this to a degree, but I definitely notice my trigger is significantly less than most other people I seem to interact with on a regular basis.
