How do I fix a video driver problem in Windows 10?
« on: 27/01/2020 13:32:11 »
The latest version of Windows 10 (19551) incorporates a new browser that works well but has introduced a problem to users of Nvidia video cards , it is no longer possible to access the NVIDIA control panel to adjust brightness, contrast ect.
The solution use an old video driver (I use 310.90) although it may not be the best for games fans and ensure it does not automatically updated

Maybe you should clean up your system from the old ones?

I haven't updated Windows for about a year! I turned off these updates (I had to suffer for a long time over this). This will be the best solution!

Later updates have long since solved this problem

Very strange - and daft - advice; unless you want to be hacked, render obsolete or destabilise your machine, that is...

The problem with updates is that they slow down the computer. And in a mobile phone it is clearly visible. For this reason I don't want to update.

Not necessarily. Some updates are driver optimisations and fixes for bugs that can slow down performance.
