Where did everybody go?
« on: 08/04/2004 04:14:13 »
Hello???

Normally when I check in here there are all sorts of new posts but today there is squat! What happened to everyone going on easter holidays early or something? Well happy easter everyone while I think remember it.

Well I would normally come here in my lunch break but seeing as nothing is happening I'll have to toddle off else where [V]

I'm born. I'm alive. I breathe. In a moment or two I realize that the sphere upon which I reside is asleep on its feet. Should I go back to sleep?

You're right old man.  I've been noticing deadness a lot lateley.  Maybe it just used to seem busier to me because I was new and there were always old threads to reply to that were "new to me".  In any case POST PEOPLE POST!!!![:(!] there maybe that face will scare them into submission!

Well since there's not much to reply to and my brain's too fried to come up with anything original, and since my posts say 199 I'll just say "happy 200 to me (lalalalala)"  **blows out candles**  (I'll be accepting presents via paypal)
Oh and since I'm thinking about it could I possibly get my title made to be "Lord of the Flies"  (I didn't ask at 150 because i wasn't sure how many of my posts were "quality").  Anyways I tink that woul be really cool.  but no rush.

Anyways, big day tomorrow, post doc coming in for an interview....oooooo!!!!  (means I get to eat at two fancy resturaunts on the company account...SCORE!!) so I'm goin home for some beauty sleep.

Peace out!

I've noticed the lower activity as well.  I've also noticed that I'm not posting as much or as often because I don't have time and energy to think about a good response.  The site seems to cycle like that.  A long as the party boy is here we don't have much to worry about!

It's because it is Easter and people are off doing things. Traffic through the homepage is down this week too. After Easter everyone will be back and raring to go !

And has PArtyboy Exodus managed to sort out his plane tickets yet ?

...and it might also have had something to do with a certain person with a bright red religious signature posting crap to every board every 5 minutes. It became tiresome trying to find the worthwhile posts amongst the rubbish.

I've been busy with work.  Just getting the hang of running a business, so lots of floundering.  I'll be more organised with a bit more experience.  Then again, I'm setting up my company in a different way than most, so I'm developing my system from scratch.  Fun stuff.

The ScarletLetterLady has been pretty good about not posting crap lately...thanks CC.

Where did everyone go? So scientists celebrate Easter too?? Or just take time off like everybody? Consolation - also the idiots take time off and stop sending stupid messages... Heh, maybe there is a corrolation here?

If it helps, all forums (fora?) are quiet these last few days - take a look!

Thanks for the welcome - I am not made of chocolate so Easter was OK...

Strange name by the way for you - "on the way out" if I remember a little Latin...

Yeah, interesting exchanges here - given the slow time

To answer my own question... I just wanted to let y'all know that I heard from "neil" today.  He's apparently been feelin under the weather lately but is hangin in there.  He said to say "hi" to everyone and that he misses you all.
Neil if you read this we all miss you too and hope to see you back soon! [:)]
