Nope, I don't drink either.  I used to, but most commercial beer and wine gives me a raging headache before I get to the bottom of the glass.  Hard liquor is an open invitation for candida.  No fun, so I just don't bother.  Like you, I don't need booze to behave ridiculously and have a good time.

Hi Chris,

I think the next trip will be on the 3rd July. It's gunna be hard if Rich is returning that day! Let me know what you think. Are you still interested? I've already tentatively included both your names on the list. What about Sarah?

I can't say I don't drink, but the six pack I bought last summer still has 4 in it.  I enjoy a beer or glass of wine once in a while, but usually it's too expensive and too much hassle to bother with.  And then I forget I even have any at home.

So, Dan, where did you buy that licenSe?  Could you get your money back?

ebz, at least they didn't ask you "When is your 4th of July?".  I've heard that question in a little different phrasing.

Our "Independence Day" used to be called "Dominion Day" and is now called "Canada Day", celebrated on the 1st of July.  It's very nice that the country has fireworks to celebrate my birthday.[8D]

What's 'America' - sorry, I've never heard of it, I thought the world ended at the shores of Europe. Silly me. [;)]

I've always wanted to be an exchange student to somwhere out of the USA.  Just to prolong the stereotypic view of Americans if I ever do travel outside the states, I'm going to ask a stupid question like that![:D]

On my first full day in the US, I met a man who said "Hi, I'm Randy". I can't believe that life can be so perfect, surely there is an organisation that plants such people around for the benefit of us Brits? (That was the only time anyone ever said it to me despite my being there over ten months).

OK Valley, I don't get it.  No one said, "Hi, I'm Randy," to you in ten months?  Maybe you just didn't meet another Randy.  Why would any organization plant a person around to say, "Hi, I'm Randy?"

Erm, 'Randy' means "horny" in English English, which is why valley was titillated by the introduction, fnar fnar !
