What are the prospects of statins (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) as an anti-osteoporotic drugs? Are they anti-resorptive or anabolic drugs?

What are some of the long term effects say of Pravastatin...?
I have been on it for about 2 years now.. I have both osteo and Rhumotoid Arthritis so how would this react to those factors? How does it effect the bone and The memory intrigues me as I have had real trouble there since after my mini stroke.. not like long term stuff but short term.. like I get up to get something and don't get to steps and have forgotten and get confused going back and forth in my head then don't even know what I had been doing or where I was before I found myself standing up confused about ..what??? LOl Its horrible..
