mmm, this was a problem. Interestingly, some of the aliases worked - such as www.nakedscientist.com, but not others.

I phoned the host - LCN - and spoke to someone who sounded terribly disinterested and who informed me that it must have been an "ISP caching problem".

This is a big retrograde step for LCN. In fact the reason I stuck with them for so long was that their customer service was always excellent. I sad to say that our days with LCN.biz / lowcostnames.co.uk are most certainly numbered.

This 'Urbanhotlist'  person who is selling the Nike shoes...I've just deleted (for the third time)...another six of his threads.

I don't think it's a person at all....could it be some kind of sophisticated advert bot or something ?

Surely, after having the threads deleted so many times, a human would give up creating all these threads...fortunately...I caught the last lot just one minute after they were created...

I posted this on the wrong forum, so here it is again:

Clicking on the arrow in the 'Last Post' column normally takes you to the last post. But, since the upgrade, if there are more than two pages to the thread, it does not work! (Same applies to this thread)

Any chance of a fix?

Has anyone noticed that the site seems to be showing a few symptoms of slowing down on occasion ?...It just freezes and I have to come back a few minutes later.

Could this be due to the zeta and diary threads having so many pages  ?

yes today i've been having trouble and assumed it was just me.

I was going to wait for the new forum to go live before slimming down some of the threads as the new software make it easy but maybe i should have a rethink.
