The one where you use 'special forces' to train repressive regimes, the one where you think that by doing so you can influence them. It works to a degree, and it keeps those regimes afloat, so you can make a profit on them.

This passive technology, taking advantage of you exist at home too. combined with vast repositories that stores it 'for ever'. Using advanced algorithms those life stories can be lifted forward and mapped at any time in the future. It makes it relatively easy to know you personally, if the need comes to be. And it's all in the hands of those 'leading you', and exporting it.

You already have a type of caste society based on a game of inequality.  And what this technology does is to cement it even further. If the need for it arise you and your friends all becomes available for scrutiny without your knowledge.

As I say, the worst qualities in yourself lifted up to a ideal. A revolution today is doomed to fail, if your government is prepared to stop it. and that, once more, depends on those few selected. You call that 'democracy', don't you?

you won't see it today, not in our western societies, but maybe tomorrow. It will be dependent on how global warming and the rest of our mistakes develop. I state that no 'democracy' today will be willing to dismantle itself in favor for a real democracy, and I think that holds. If that holds then the pattern is clear, and should be so for you too.

It depends on your stupidity of course, your beliefs and ideals.

What I'm saying is that our western 'democracies' are a lot more fragile than you thought. They are based on the selected few, and the selected few have a lot to lose by dismantling themselves. And that goes for anything containing the word 'equality' and 'rights'. It will be comparatively easy to change the state of your society from a democratic to a repressive, and once that is done a totalitarian state becomes the next.

a real democracy would make that more or less impossible as it builds on a majority's wishes.

The next thing to understand is that there will be no progress in handling any of our mistakes as long as the game is biased to the selected few. If science did the same, allowed bias and preconceptions to lead it, it would fail.

And the society you have is stagnant. It fails when it comes to make education available for all, it allows preconceptions and bias to define it. It's based on inequality and from that you get conspiracy theories, lies and propaganda.

You're the ones creating the substrate for those to grow in.

You see. in real life education and experience never ends. It's something you gain just by living. And that is the way society should plan for it, making it available at any time, free of cost for everyone, at all ages. It would make society something different than what it is. Equality doesn't mean that we all are the same or that we all want to learn, or do the same things, at the same age. Equality just means that we all should have the same opportunities available once we need it.

The game is built on it though. It has all sort of explanations and excuses for why this inequality exist. It's structured for taking from the many to give to the few. From the way your governments works to your industries. It's an idea based on individual profits and its extension becomes one in where you think the whole world must be based on the same. That's wrong, earth is based on life. and sustainability of the same.

you're on a collision course with that now.

Bubbles of logic, as long as you stay inside them you won't change. As long you won't change the course is set.

I will also state that our game of inequality is coming to an end. The cost of aiding nations already poor will increase to a pain threshold from where you won't be able to support it any more. The same is happening inside your own society, the split between being poor versus rich increasingly blatant. As internal turmoil increase you will find civil wars, and blame games.  You won't write off any debts and any 'debt relief' offered will just put them even deeper in debt. The inequality will grow inside, as well as outside, our nations. Your response will most probably be to look for a leader to take you out of it. But just by its structure any leader you find will be groomed to the game you want to end.
