More alleged fuel saving I saw advertised recently ..as if adding a 0.03 mm metal foil layer to the back of a metal radiator* will improve its performance.[* despite the name they heat by convection, not radiation]
I'll tell you, a "space blanket" is amazingly warming.
RD,There is no way to modify your radiator to improve fuel economy. Remember, the cooling system has thermostat.
GeezerJust today I tested my four speed auto with lockup converter on a steep hill. At 60 mph in drive and zero throttle the tach showed 2000 rpm. In neutral it showed 1000 rpm. Clearly it was not free wheeling.
