Whatever " Settings " you say, i shall choose them within the
" Notifications Tab " for my own account & then We both can see how things go ahead from there on...how bout it?

Have you updated your notification preferences?
Go to your profile, then "Modify Profile/Notifications".

 " Notify Me on a Weekly Basis " option...
You think i should select that for my profile & then observe what happens?

I set mine to daily notifications, just to see what would happen.  I had expected batches of notifications.  Instead,I get a single message called "Naked Science Forum - Daily Digest", with a summary of topic replies in topics I've participated in. 

The mention from @Zer0 did pop up separately.

Whenever anyone(except me myself) places the @ sign before my nickname, even i do get those ' Notifications ' separately sayin..." Hello Zer0, your name was mentioned in so n so topic "

& Even i do get notified of Only the
 ' First Response ' rest do not pop up unless n until I haven't viewed or checked the OP.

I've chosen the " Instantly - But Only for the First Unread Reply " option.

I'm going to switch that now to
" Instantly " & then maybe i shall be notified of all replies in bulk.

& Perhaps VHFPMR could opt for
" Weekly " notifications option...
That way, maybe rather than email pop ups coming in Instantly thru random postings...one could just have them delivered all on a single day all at once.

P.S. - Going thru tips & tricks OPs to learn more bout how the system works, maybe I'd find a few goodies in there.
