Now water you lot nattering about? I really can't sea, is it some current trend?

You shouldn't go in the sea, its filthy because the sea weed. (Hehehe, the old ones are the oldest!)

Last time I was by the sea, 'er indoors told me to prepare myself for my picture to be taken, to which I retorted, 'Pose? I? Don?'

I used to like Aker Bilk's 'Stranger on the Shore'. Nonchalantly walks off whistliN' ep tune.

Oh, Don, I'm really not sure the water in your area is healthy? Yes, we only have well water.

I faint if my bacon is not burnt to a crisp, hot as lava.

A dyslexic man walked into a bra...THAT was a feat!

Fred was in dire straights, defeat stared him in de face, so did de toes and de ankles. Meanwhile, bacon the farm, I was having more luck. “Bravo”, the crowd shouted, as I wrestled Lara Croft’s mammary support garment to the ground. Fay Dunaway rushed to my assistance and the crowd gasped “Fay aint gonna help him, is she?” We were in hysterics, lava? I almost cried.

Is that it? Are we all out of puns? Could this be the end of the 'pun' as we know it?

Dare I say 'pun' full stop, period, en punto?

Oh, Don!

Don't make such a theatrical performance about puns.

Just because they are a play on words!

However, you were a little slow in your response. Kindly be more prompt in the future.

Prompt? You do mean prop, don't you, as in stage prop?

Hmm. For some reason, this all somehow reminds me of the shy stripper who couldn't bare it on stage.

I engaged her for the show, they told me she was a Pole Dancer, turned out she was a ballerina from Poland!

From Poland? So am I.

And ballerinas are really kept on their toes, so I don't see the problem!

I can't. I have a high glycemic index, and my doctor told me to cut back on the Suites.

National Columnists Day: Today, June 28
http://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/columnists-day/

Newspapers are a huge part of our society and daily life; Columnists Day celebrates the work of the people who research, write and produce our newspapers.

I hope Don or someone reports how the day went or at least keeps a journal of what went on.

But I'm sure Don has more pressing needs to attend to.

No need to edit this post, it was spell-checked and proofed.

There will be prizes for the top 4 columnists. No prizes for any fifth column.

During the day there will be an organised 'Spot the Origami Rodent' game which has been aptly entitled 'Paper Rat See'. Winners will get a giant scoop of Peanuts in a bag.

There will also be a chance to take a swipe at any politician or celebrity in a game called The 'ed 'itter. All guests will be expected to maintain good circulation.
