I've heard that consuming things such as pineapple and lemon can improve the taste of semen whereas products such as coffee, alcohol and dairy products make it less pallatable... Is there any truth in this?

You often read this claim, mostly in womens' magazines, that you can subtly influence the flavour of semen by eating different things. I honestly don't agree. My own feeling is that since urine and semen pass along the same tube, depending upon how recently the guy passed urine, and how concentrated it was, the flavour of the semen may be tainted by the residual urine. If the guy has been drinking a lot of fluids and the urine is very dilute then it will be less strongly flavoured and hence alter the flavour of the semen less. Dark, highly concentrated urine, on the other hand, will be strong tasting (I contend, I've not tried it !) and hence alter the flavour a lot. I'm sure that this has more to do with the 'taste' of what men produce, than what they eat. Please correct me if you know better, but as Donnah says, how are you going to do a scientific study ?

If you have a problem with the taste, try rinsing your mouth out with a strong mouth wash before having an opportunity to ...well...taste it. The mouth wash should over power the other sensation. I really can not believe I had occasion to type that.
