PS5 and Xbox Series X price reveal

Chris Berrow looks at the prices of the PS5 and the Xbox Series X

Chris - Some news, that's just coming in to us. Sony has revealed the price of its PlayStation 5 and they've matched the price of the Xbox Series X.

Last time it was very different story. The PS4 was a lot cheaper than the Xbox One at launch.

So how much? Well, the PS5 will cost £449.99 in the UK when it's released, the digital edition is £359.99... so a bit cheaper. The Xbox series X - same price for the standard edition, £449.99 in the UK.

Both PlayStation 5 consoles are going to be released on the 19th of November here in the UK and the 12th of November in America, Japan and Australia. Whereas the Xbox is coming out on the 10th of November.
