Gastrointestinal Pathology: Oesophagus: Traction diverticula

Left specimen: Autopsy specimen from a 76 year old woman who had been in poor health for some months before admission to hospital because of congestive cardiac failure. This was thought to be secondary to chronic lung disease with cor pulmonale. She did not respond to treatment and died a few days after admission.
