An historic autopsy specimen from a 32 year old rent collector seen in consultation by a Guy's physician six weeks before his death. He presented with haemoptysis, this was followed a few days later by an episode of melaena. A large mass was detected in the scrotum which was diagnosed as a malignant teratoma. He lost weight rapidly, with jacksonian epilepsy occurring 24 hours before his death.
