Cardiac rupture following myocardial infarction

A 1937 autopsy specimen from a 63 year old man who was in his garden rolling his lawn when he complained of pain in his "stomach". He had had vague indigestion for three days. He had just gone into the house when he collapsed and died before assistance could be summoned.
