Left ventricular aneurysm

A 1950 autopsy specimen from a 73 year old woman who was found dead in bed. She had, on retiring the previous evening, complained of some shortness of breath, but not of pain in the chest. There was a vague history of intermittent swollen ankles and breathlessness.
