Calcium carbonate gallstone

A surgical resection specimen from a 72 year old woman who had a two year history of retrosternal discomfort after meals. Investigations revealed a small hiatus hernia and an opacity in the region of the gall bladder. She had an operation for repair of the hiatal hernia and removal of the gall bladder.
