Cerebral infarct with haemorrhagic necrosis

Share

An autopsy from a 75 year old woman, who was celebrating her birthday by giving a tea party when she "came over giddy" and had to sit down in her chair. She could not speak properly and her breathing became laboured, unconsciousness supervening some five or six minutes later. She was taken to hospital where she became semi-conscious, with signs of right hemiplagia, until her death three days later.
