Freya Lodge
About
Freya studied at Cambridge and Imperial College before qualifying as a doctor in 2007. She has since specialised in Cardiology and has moved across the country to Wales. She now works as a clinical research fellow in Cardiff, which gives her lots of time to read about interesting things that are sometimes related to her research. At the moment, she is investigating expanded applications for specialised pacemakers in heart failure. She will shortly be taking up a fellowship in Cardiff in Cardiovascular Imaging.
Freya lives on a working farm in the Brecon Beacons with her husband and two children. When she's not driving up and down the A470, she enjoys cycling, running, food and singing and enjoys the annual opportunity to get her cello out.
