Laura Tan

Laura is an Associate Lecturer in Psychology and Education at The Open University. She is in the final year of her professional Doctorate in Education busily writing up her research project 'When East Meets West' and disseminating it as far and as wide as she can! This project involved interviewing students located in the UK, Austria, Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia and Japan all from the comfort of her own home! She previously studied for a Masters in Social and Developmental Psychology at the University of Cambridge and has never really left - she can often be found hibernating in local libraries and cafes with a cuppa and a grilled cheese. She's a self-confessed serial student and has studied Psychology, Education and Law at postgraduate level alongside her dream job of teaching and supporting students in the UK and Europe.
